This house had amazing views and a great beach to explore. So beautiful and peaceful! Clean house- nicely stocked kitchen. Great location for visiting Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. Carolyn was helpful, informative, gracious, and friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and cozy. The location was perfect! We were about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor so we could easily stop back by the house for lunch. It was quiet and so nice to be able to walk out and see the ocean too. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We loved this beautiful home on the “quiet side” of the island. We were close enough to all Acadia NP and the Bar Harbor area have to offer but tucked in the peaceful woods of Seal Cove away from the crowds. The home was perfect in every way - the top floor and its balcony were a special bonus serving as a spot for evening reading and stargazing. Lovely.

This was a great experience with some wonderful hosts! We felt right at home that has a great location to visit surrounding areas. Special thank you to these two for making our family trip a little more special!

A beautiful, private, quiet, peaceful and comfortable spot on Deer Isle! The home had everything we needed in a perfect location. A great spot for family and we enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful views! There is also a phenomenal children’s library with 100s of children’s books, puzzles for ages 3+ to adult and games. If traveling with children no need to bring any books whatsoever!

Place it self was great and clean was a little rougher part of town but had no issues.

Just such a beautiful location! The room was perfect for our weekend stay with super comfy beds, lots of space, nice kitchen area. Staying here is a great home base for exploring the area! Unique place to stay unlike any place we’ve stayed before! The views are breathtaking!

Alex's place was the ideal spot for our recent roadtrip, plenty of space for everyone, all the essentials, and close to the uptown! He was also easy to communicate with and readily provided all of the necessary info for a smooth stay.

I needed lodging in the off-season, half for medical reasons and half just to relax. I chose this place because it was available, reasonably priced, and close to Machias. The lodging that had rooms available were far out of my price range. I wasn’t sure that I’d get what was advertised, but I had no other choice. Well! I was blown away! I fell in love with this place in winter. It must be even more spectacular in the summer! My room, as advertised, had everything I needed. The bed was pillowy comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. I took daily walks to the ocean to recharge. I met two of the staff who were so friendly that I felt like I was family. I didn’t have a dog with me, but other guests did and I LOVE when a place accepts pets, especially large dogs. I never understood why a place will accept small to medium sized dogs and not large ones. Large dogs are usually the most laid back. I recommend this place just on that fact alone. Peaceful. Serene. Beautiful.

I would Recommend Alex to everyone! For the price is really convenient and affordable!

Very close to canada game centre, therefore ideal for lodging during sports events. Free parking. Beds were comfortable and enough towels were provided. Kitchen basics were sufficient to prep our meals. We encountered a minor problem with a pot and pan and had to reach out to Alex. He was very responsive and helpful. Check in was super easy using the detailed instructions provided ahead of time. I would stay there again.

Great apartment right in the middle of uptown, walkable to all the bars and restaurants in waterfront. Would recommend people to stay.

Stayed at the unit for three months due to proximity to the hospital. It was clean, well stocked with supplies and close to amenities. Alex was responsive to an issue with the door lock. All communication were responded to within 20-30 minutes. We would definitely book again if needed.

Beautiful place ! A lot bigger than expected, very clean!

I stayed for 1 week in January. It was very cold and snowy, so I was happy to have a place so central and close to everything. If you walk across the street to the aquatic center, it is connected to Market square which has some great restaurants, and Brunswick square if you need something from the drugstore. Vito's restaurant is right next door and it is great as well. The unit is bright and very large and spacious. It had everything we needed. Communication with Alex was great, and was able to help me with my last minute request for a late checkout.

This is a great home away from home for family members with loved ones in the hospital. Very homey. Easy parking. Good neighbourhood. Felt very safe. I would definitely recommend it.
