We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. The Cowboy Cottage is the perfect getaway for couples that enjoy nature and the countryside. A gated entrance will lead you to a quiet, peaceful, and private place to enjoy. This is a single bedroom dwelling with 2 sliding patio door entrances and decks. One entrance leads to the master bedroom and the other is the living room area. Explore nearby hiking trails or gaze upon the horse pasture with friendly horses that will come right up to the back patio for some gorgeous photo opportunities.

You can sit on the side deck, watch the horses eat, and listen to the frogs at night. A short walk across the field and you can be fishing in Plato Branch. Cozy cabin with two queen beds. One private bedroom, second bed in the Loft. Pets are allowed with approval and $50 fee. See notes.

Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
