This has to be my favorite spot to stay in Arusha. I would recommend it. The night campfire was amazing. I’m definitely coming back 2025.

The property is a beautiful Swahili style house. It could use some updating and be better equipped but Jessica was very friendly and helpful the entire time. I would stay there again.

Amazing place to stay! The beds are incredibly comfortable. The host is super responsive and proactive. The gardener during daytime and the night guard are really kind and welcoming. The fact that we are able to do our own washing in the laundry room is definitely a plus! We had a little water issue which was solved super quickly. The host came to check within a couple of minutes and even refunded some amount for the inconvenience, which was really appreciated. We will stay here again! For sure!

Zahra's house is great. Furniture, kitchen equipment, etc are all very nice. A great place to stay with a family. Marcel

We enjoyed our stay in Kelvin‘s house. It is in a quiet area a little bit outside the city Center. But it’s a safe area, in which you are surrounded by locals but you can still walk around safely. Kelvin is really welcoming and always available if you need something. Because Google maps can’t locate the place correctly, we would advice that you call Kelvin when you are on your way to the house, so that he can give your driver the instructions. That’s how we did it and it worked without complications. We also went for three days on Safari and Kelvin gave us the opportunity that we can leave some of our luggage in his place, which was really kind and helpful. Also in the evening you can sit outside together and have long conversations. We would recommend this place!

David fue genial a la hora de recibirnos y de explicarnos los detalles de la casa, además de proporcionarnos Acura embotellada y pan. Está bien ubicado a 8’ de la avenida principal. While we were there we had power issues for most of the time we were there. Despite the inconvenience they tried their best to accommodate. Also they said they would reimburse us for the inconvenience. Little hard to find but nice quiet place and the children really loved the pool . The owner is very responsive and communicates well .

Out of all the places I’ve stayed in Arusha, Abdallah’s place stands out as the best. Everything felt just right — the space was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged. The gym was a huge bonus, helping me stay consistent with my routine, and the chessboard made it feel like more than just a stay — it felt like home. There’s a quiet energy here that inspires focus, rest, and reflection. Abdallah is a top-tier host: respectful, helpful, and genuinely caring. Whether you’re here to unwind, stay active, or simply find a grounding base, this spot has it all. I left feeling refreshed, centered, and grateful. I’ll definitely be returning — this place is a hidden gem

This house and the whole compound is big and made of high grade wood (maybe mahogany). There are hardly any mosquitoes or flies. The owner did a great job on that. The house and entire compound are very clean. My kids loved it. Cons: the owner needs to improve on communication, including about Wi-Fi usage, etc. The owner left his family photos in the house, which kind of ruined the vacation mood everyday we had to look at that reminder we are in someone else’s home. Also, the master bath is ok, but not big enough, especially the very small vanity/sink, to match the beauty of the house. The time of the year we were there was very cold and no good heating options in the house. Overall: the stay was worth it. I highly recommend this place.
