Big Hill, a bespoke luxury rural escape thoughtfully nestled in private native New Zealand bushland surrounded by stunning Banks Peninsula farmland. Encapsulating dramatic coastline and views stretching the Pacific Ocean and beyond. The elevation and seclusion of Big Hill provides a unique contrast of total solitude and unparallel panoramic views stretching as far as the eye can see. 90 minutes from Christchurch and 35 minutes from Akaroa, close enough to explore but a world away to escape.

Castle Hill Studio

Castle Hill Studio has everything you need after a day exploring the nearby Ski fields, Craigieburn trails, Cave Stream, and Kura Tawhiti Rocks from your doorstep. Spacious, fully serviced, basement studio with its own private entry, with secure bike or ski storage by arrangement. A Black Diamond Mondo boulderign mat is available for our Bouldering guests to hire. While the studio is spacious, it is best suited to 2 people/ 1 couple. Young children can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Mariners Cabin: Your seaside escape

Mariners Cabin is a modern and minimalist retreat situated in picturesque Cass Bay, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a serene escape. This cabin (13 square meters in size) is suspended in the trees, offers the best proximity to beach views, an outdoor bath, barbecue, and a romantic outdoor dining area. It also features an authentic wood burner, ensuring warmth and coziness during chilly nights, while the comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep.

The Nest at Hurunui Jacks (outdoor bath & firepit)

So much more than a place to sleep - toast marshmallows around a private fire, take a bike on the West Coast Wilderness trail, kayak on our little lake! The Nest is a stand alone self contained unit with outdoor bath/shower, close to but separate from the main house. Set on 15 acres of private land, Hurunui Jacks has the Nest and a glamping tent nestled in beautiful West Coast native bush. A small private lake, historic water race & the Kaniere River are on your doorstep.

Harbour Escape - tiny home in Lyttelton

Our Lyttel Whare (house) is a brand new, architecturally designed tiny home, thoughtfully located and decorated to maximise stunning harbour and hill views and to reflect our funky Lyttelton vibe. With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. The Tussocks, Arthur's Pass

Nestled in the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass, and in the heart of Arthur’s Pass National Park, The Tussocks offers a great mid-way stopover when travelling from coast to coast, or a fantastic base for doing the many tracks and trails in the surrounding area. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families, hikers/trampers and larger groups of up to eight people.

Brand new warm and cosy studio unit. Best views in town, looks down on the train station and Bealey river and looks up to Mt Rolleston, even from the bath. There is a small kitchenette which has a fridge, kettle, toaster, electric fry pan and large microwave, There is a BBQ for when weather is warmer. Second on the right up Brake Hill.
