We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

this was our second stay at Ethan's. the house is comfortable for 2 families and has everything you need. Ethan's communication is great. we loved our stay here.

We had a fantastic night at Suzette's place on our way down the Garden Route. Unfortunately electricity in the area was down due a bush fire the previous day. Suzette proactively communicated with us ahead of time and even offered us a cancellation which we declined. Just as well because the house is well set-up and was perfect even without electricity. Her husband arranged an inverter which was sufficient to provide power to light the gas heaters which meant we had warm showers both the evening and the morning and more than enough energy to charge everyone's phones as well. There is more than enough to do in the area and Struisbaai really deserves more than a passing visit. Thanks Suzette

You couldnt ask for more! Beautiful setting right on the river. The house is spacious, tastefully devorated, clean and has everything you need. Lovely host who makes your check-in and stay super easy. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage on a beautiful farm. We were welcomed with a freshly baked bread and milk from the farm. Elzette was a wonderful host and we had a wonderful stay with them.

I will definitely suggest the house to family, friends, & colleagues if they are in the area! This was our second visit to Gledsmuir and the stay matched our best expectations - again! We had a full house of 15 young and old adults (!) but the house is so spacious there was a place for everyone, whether it was to enjoy ball play or swim outside, or to find a space inside to play board games or cards, do a jigsaw puzzle or crossword, or read. The staff were unobtrusive and helpful, and magically restored the place to its pristine level throughout the day and early each morning. In particular, not having to be overly worried about washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen was a great treat for all the busy adults in our group. We had a truly relaxing and fun stay, in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The price is on the high side but you get what you pay for, and more.

Lovely home in our favourite seaside family escape. Enjoyed the pool, snooker table and table tennis. Great added value attributes not often found in the fishing village. Comfortable house and all you need in the kitchen, including two fridge/freezers, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Helpful and responsive hosts. Pet friendly too!

We loved our stay at Lydia's place in Hermanus. Beautiful mountain views, garden and birds, and direct access to mountain walks whilst reasonably close to Voelklip beach. It had all the amenities that our family needed and a lovely authentic and rustic feel.

Absolutely loved our stay! Misha’s place is gorgeous - even nicer than the photos. Came for a weekend with some friends and it’s the perfect house for that - spacious entertainment area and pool. It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the mountain path. Bed was super comfy. Ciska was friendly and lovely. Highly recommended!

Henri hat uns mit seiner Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft beeindruckt. Wir waren mit unserem 4 Jährigen Sohn ( leider nur) für 2 Nächte da. Wir wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Von einer Nachtwanderung durch einen Zauberwald, über planschen im Pool, Kanufahren und Motorradfahren mit Henri war alles dabei. Unser Sohn hat es geliebt und auch wir waren super happy über die Unterkunft auf dem Hof. In dem Tiny House haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Man hat eine wundervolle Aussicht auf die Berge, die Betten sind bequem und nachts ist es sehr ruhig.

Everything about this trip was amazing. The house is spacious, beautiful and modern. Great for multiple families. The valley is breathtakingly beautiful with a little stream for the kids to play in. Jannie was an incredible host from booking to checkout. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

LOVED our 3day stay, could have stayed a week. Beautiful surroundings, we loved sitting on the grass looking out on the dam. comfortable beds, had all aminities for a weekend away. our dogs loved swimming in the dam. perfect break away for the weekend. we also booked the cottage next door, a perfect group away setting.

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

We really enjoyed our one-night-stay at Warren's airbnb, it was even more charming in real-life. The perfect getaway spot where you can relax, regenerate and enjoy an historic home with a wonderful garden and a stunning history. Only 25 min away from Kap Agulhas. Warren is a wonderful, super friendly and proactive host. All the best!

We had a great time at this beautiful and secluded place. Had some spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the porch. Would recommend this for anybody looking for a peaceful breakaway in the lovely overberg region.

We stayed in the bungalow at Casa d’Italo and left feeling completely refreshed. The Wi-Fi was reliable, but it was the surrounding nature that truly stole the show. Waking up to birdsong, watching the mountains change with the sun light, and sitting outside surrounded by fynbos brought a deep sense of calm. The bungalow itself is beautifully styled—simple, warm, and clearly put together with care. It’s a place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and just be. A peaceful and grounding stay that we’ll be thinking about for a long time. Thanks for the amazing haven you provided 😊
