De accommodatie ligt op een geweldige locatie! Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Het appartement is onderdeel van een oud en authentiek gebouw, maar is modern ingericht, zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een heerlijke douche, een wasmachine, airco, tv, magnetron, oven en een keuken met een 4-pits fornuis. En een balkon waar je kunt zitten! Je bevindt je midden in het historische centrum van Viseu. Guilherme is een zeer goede gastheer, geeft tips voordat je arriveert en reageert meteen wanneer je een vraag hebt. De bedden zijn heerlijk en het appartement superschoon. Wij verbleven er vijf dagen naar grote tevredenheid.

Tivemos uma excelente hospedagem no imóvel da Ana. Casa extremamente limpa e com tudo o que precisar. O jardim da casa é magnífico, muito bem cuidado e reservado. Perfeito para refeições como pequeno almoço. Com certeza voltaremos outras vezes.

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en la casa de Regina. Desde el momento en que llegamos nos sentimos bienvenidos. Las camas eran increíblemente cómodas. La piscina de agua salada fue un verdadero placer, especialmente durante los calurosos días de verano; pasé horas en familia disfrutando. Regina es una anfitriona muy detallista, atenta a cada necesidad de sus huéspedes, lo que hizo que mi estancia fuera aún más agradable. Volveremos seguro.

Paulo's place is extremely modern, clean, spacious with a great bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. Just a pity it was too cold to make use of the pool. It was an added bonus being able to eat in their restaurant downstairs.

Espaço agradável, com uma vista bonita, e com tudo o que é preciso! Só não estava à espera das ruas apertadas e falta de estacionamento. (Não é culpa do proprietário, é a zona mesmo)

Wij hebben echt een hele fijne tijd in het appartement van Paul gehad! Wij raden het 💯 % aan! Ons verblijf was eigenlijk véél te kort & wij willen zeker een keer terug komt. Voor wie een unieke ervaring zoekt buiten het massa toerisme om: hier ben je aan het juiste adres! In Paul’s huis wordt je van harte welkom geheten en voor even is het ook ‘jouw huis’ Een unieke ervaring van het Portugese leven in de Douro vallei. Ook de omgeving is prachtig, de mensen zijn aardig en alles is heel betaalbaar. We hopen ooit eens terug te keren in dit mooie Portugese paradijsje. 🫶

Quando chegamos ao alojamento, o mesmo encontrava-se pronto para nos receber: quente e aconchegante, o que nos soube mesmo bem visto que cá fora estava um friozinho aceitável. A nossa gatinha sentiu-se completamente em casa: estava super a vontade e a calma da zona é contagiante. A localização é incrível, dando a sensação de que estamos no campo mas assim que saímos e andamos um bocadinho, temos todas as comodidades de uma cidade, mesmo no alojamento, com serviços de entrega conhecidos para colmatar qualquer necessidade. A anfitriã, Cecília esteve sempre muito disponível, qualquer coisa que precisássemos, respondia sempre prontamente e com muita simpatia 😊 Recomendamos a todos os que precisem de um bom espaço para descansar. Com a calma do campo, mas com todo as comodidades e confortos de uma casa de cidade!

Helga and Mario have a beautiful clean place with incredible views of the Douro River Valley. We had great instructions to get to the home and how to get in with a keyless code. It was raining and cold so we were soaked getting the gate open and getting suitcases inside. There’s a fireplace in the living area and I asked Helga if we could get firewood and within minutes someone arrived with wood and he even built us a fire. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I needed a haircut/ pedicure and Helga made me an appointment with Sonia in the next village of Tabuaço for the day after we arrived, that was wonderful service and kind of her. I was very pleased. Helga gave very good information on things to do in the area and places to eat. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had while traveling. Everything was clean and as stated in the listing. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs if that is an issue but we were told this before we booked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Estadia no início de março. Local e paisagem maravilhosos. Tranquilidade, contexto, o som do rio, a casa, tudo de uma grande beleza. O anfitrião, em minha opinião, é como deve ser: responsivo a qualquer dúvida, sem qualquer intrusão. Perto da Régua, Pinhão, rio Douro, Lamego, Porto o que permite um programa muito diversificado. VALUE-BEAUTIFUL-PRISTINE HOME! Checkin: was a rainy day and Antonio was kind enough to let us check in earlier. Nice to see a welcome gift of Port wine 🍷 Home: Wow! home was exactly like the photos. Beds were firm which we love. Shower had good pressure and hot! Felt luxurious to have a heating towel rack. Used the oranges that Antonio gifted to us to make orange juice. Loved how I could blow dry my hair and turn on the kettle at the same time without short circuiting the electricity! Was able to go to the main house to use the washing machine which is very helpful when travelling. Location: Felt like a 5 min walk from train station and an 8 min walk everywhere including Quinta da Foz and Quinta da Bonfim. Explored local restaurants. Enjoyed dinner at The Bridge. Overall: thanks for making our trip so memorable. We felt so blessed to wake up and enjoy the morning view from the balcony. Appreciate everything that Antonio and team had done for us. Obrigado!

The listing is beautiful and peaceful. Host was very collaborative and responsive. We used jacuzzi, the gas griller and the bikes freely. Overall, it was an amazing stay. My only suggestion for improvement would be to ensure the floor of the room is even.

Delightful! So wonderful on cold November evenings to arrive and return to a warm home. They had pre-heated the home to create a perfect welcome! I want that shower! The shower is so spacious, easy entry, the drain works perfectly, the water all stays in the shower. Gorgeous view from my bedroom and the balcony. So many restaurants in town. Perfect for easy and scenic round trip drive along the Douro.

Ótima acomodação, espaço limpo e confortável com boa localização. check in de fácil acesso. anfitriões atenciosos, sempre respondiam. recomendo, a vista é incrível.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania

Все было идеально! Жилье выглядит даже лучше чем на фото. Очень удобное, продуманное и красивое жилье. Есть все для длительного проживания. Очень комфортная кровать, удобный диван, кухня оснащена всем необходимым и прекрасная терраса. Мы провели здесь месяц и с уверенность могу рекомендовать это жилье. Расположение отличное, это самый центр города и очень тихо. Магазины, продуктовые магазины, бары и рестораны рядом.

Elisabete è stata davvero gentile, l’alloggio è molto carino, all’ultimo piano con un grande terrazzo da cui godersi le giornate di sole. Consigliatissimo a chi è di passaggio ad Amarante!
