The Love Train is an authentic 1949 Missouri Pacific Caboose that was in service for many years and was finally retired in 1983. Our most unique "cabin" to date, this dwelling has really gone places! After purchase, we completely gutted & renovated the entire structure, keeping the original equipment as we went for a real step backwards in time! The Red River is hiking distance, you're only minutes away from Winstar World Casinos, Lake Murray & many other area attractions.

Caboose 1430

FRISCO Caboose 1430 is an exceptional rail car that's been updated for the modern time. The interior is a marriage between the past and future. We've kept parts of the caboose that's unique to the space while modernizing others for the comfort of our guests. This rental is located on an active railroad track and you WILL hear the train on occasion. They do not have a set schedule so it's possible that the train horn will blast during the night/early morning.

EC can sleep 4 comfortably. There is a queen size bed as well as a queen size pull out couch. The kitchenette is equipped with a keurig coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom has several extras in case you forget something. The shower, which has exposed copper plumbing, is sure to impress. Outside there is a small patio with adirondack chairs that over looks the horse pasture and our beautiful Panhandle sunsets.

This boxcar used to ride the rails from LA to Chicago but now is retired from its work and has been turned into a beautiful, unique guest home for you to enjoy and experience what it’s like to sleep in a comfortable train car! Invite your friends to join you and book Boxcar #2, which is just next door to this boxcar. Both boxcars have their own private yard, parking and space but are close enough together for you to experience this together if you’d like.

We have hosted guests and large groups/families at the ranch for several years and with the addition of the Boxcar Bunkhouse we are excited to add another level of unique accommodations to the Panhandle area!
