It was lovely to meet Alice and David and to spend time with them round the breakfast table. They are sensitive to people's need for privacy but are also present for help or a chat. Received excellent recommendations from them. The place itself is very homely and clean, with beautiful surroundings. On occasion we returned to our room during the day to take shelter from the rain and rest; it was a very welcoming and private space. A perfect AirBnB experience.

The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was yummy! Location was very close to the cute town. The hosts were lovely and informative. Would definitely stay again!

I want to stay more, but i got , my ferry so i only take 1 night. I wish i can stay again!

Ashley a été très accueillant, gentil et disponible. Malgré mon anglais approximatif nous avons très bien communiqué et il a pris le temps de nous aiguiller sur les alentours. Le logement était vraiment très propre et idéal pour notre famille. Et cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu un excellent petit déjeuner. En résumé c’était parfait, allez y les yeux fermés !

Alison 's home was spectacular with an oceanfront location down the beach from Culzean Castle. We were warmly welcomed into their home. the accommodations were wonderful and a great breakfast is included. most importantly the hospitality was so gracious and they even provided a wee dram for the evening. so highly recommend a stay here, the location is spectacular!!

Wir haben zwei Nächte in dem hübschen Zuhause von Uta und Ian verbringen dürfen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, Uta hat uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und hübsch eingerichtet und wir hatten ein Wohnzimmer zur alleinigen Nutzung, in dem uns abends ein Kaminfeuer empfing. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und wir hätten auch die Küche nutzen dürfen. Wir wären gerne länger auf der Insel geblieben und haben uns gefühlt wie zu Besuch bei Freunden. Schön so gastfreundliche, sympathische und herzliche Menschen kennenzulernen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir sind aufgrund eines Reifenschadens viel zu spät bei Jo angekommen. Wir hatten die ganze Zeit Kontakt mit ihr, sie war so hilfsbereit und hat bis in die Nacht auf uns gewartet. Das Frühstück war super, alles sehr sauber - einfach perfekt.

My family (6 adults & 4 children) and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Greig's. The house was lovely and had everything one would need. The location is fantastic - beautiful views of the sea and Arran - and was perfect for the wedding we attended at The Waterside Hotel. The real hight light was the massage chair, hot tub & sauna. We spent a whole day relaxing and then went for a walk on the beach at sunset. Wonderful memories made spending quality time together. Thank you Greig for letting us stay and being so helpful with take away recommendations - the Chinese, Curry & Pizza were great & they all knew to come to the right entrance! We will definitely see you again if you'll have us!

I was happy with the price I paid. Ryan's flat was spotless, warm and had everything we needed. The view from the flat is amazing and although the weather wasnt the best while we were there, we had 2 beautiful sunsets. Ryan kept in contact prior, during and on the day we left. He was very accommodating. It's on the third floor but definitely worth the view in my opinion. The flat is right on the outskirts of the town but walkable in 15-20 minutes or no problem to park nearer when needed.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is perfect when u love nature, sea, sheep and highland cattle. Lots of walk are possible from here. About the castle it’s really a stunning one. Services are at the best with all confort needed … it’s really a jewel and we hope come back here in the future.

We've had many trips to Largs to see family & stayed in a number of Airbnb's. This was one of the best. Very convenient to town, free parking right outside, spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Cameron was extremely accommodating in terms of getting the keys to the flat and, when the hob was found to not be working, went out of his way to find a replacement and fit it within a few hours to avoid any inconvenience to us. We would happily stay here again and thank Cameron for his hospitality.

Could have been cleaner but was okay for what we needed, good communication and good host

The place was spotless, with almost everything you could need for an extended stay like my own. The hosts were flexible (due to changes in my own plans) and they communicated quickly in response to every query. Very much recommended place to stay.

A lovely apartment, perfectly positioned for a short walk into town. The rooms were all very spacious and comfortable and the basket of goodies in the kitchen were very thoughtful and well received! We had a lovely stay in Oban and if I'm back this way Ian's will be my first stop. Thank you!

wir haben uns in der Wohnung vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl Gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden. Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe vom Zentrum. Alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Kontakt zu Jeanette war sehr herzlich und sie war immer sehr reaktionsschnell. Dieses Airbnb können wir nur empfehlen!!

Perfect location, the little house had everything and more you need to make your stay comfortable. Plenty of room, full stocked kitchen with a washing machine if needed - we didn’t as the weather was wonderful so no wet or dirty clothes! Large bathroom and the amenity kit was a lovely extra. Breakfast every morning had a great choice and plenty to set us up for full days exploring the wonderful island of Islay.

We had a fantastic stay. Very comfortable and clean room and we had a great breakfast in the morning. Set in a beautiful location. My husband and I loved it and will be back.

This is a real gem. It is very close to the ferry terminal to Iona, and it is easy to walk to Iona or around Fionphort. John helped me book a boat trip to Staffa. He made the call himself and made sure I could pay on the boat. The breakfast is cooked to order and is delicious - lots of fresh local and homemade choices available. John couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Although there is only one restaurant in town, it is right next door and the food was very good. I booked my meals there in advance based on John's detailed instructions before I arrived. Overall, one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten vor dem Check-In bereits unser Gepäck abladen. Wir wurden mit Tee und Kaffee versorgt und das Frühstück wurde uns aufs Zimmer gebracht. Gute Lage, um zum Loch bei Finlaggan zu wandern, die Whiskydestillerien Caol Ila und Bu nahaiban zu besuchen und an der Fähre in Port Askaig im Hotelrestaurant essen zu gehen.

The Oban area in the Highlands is stunning, and the view from the window at "The Rockies" made me feel that I could sit and just enjoy it forever. I would like to thank you Jennifer for your thoughtfulness, for the lovely breakfasts, and for your help and suggestions. I had a beautiful time (and weather!) at the Rockies and visiting the area.

My parents and I had a warm welcome at Gillian’s lovely B&B. She gave us some excellent advice and tips on what to see (including the local Ardalanish weavers) and where to find dinner. Thanks Gillian for helping us make the most of a damp but spectacular Mull!

I've spent a great time on the Isle of Mull. My ferry was postponed due to storms and because I didn't want to cycle in the dark, Katja picked me up in her van for £ 50. The breakfast was very good and Katja also gave me tips for nice walks. Also for the return Katjas Van offer was perfect, as there was snow on the roads.

By far the BEST airbnb I’ve ever been too! And in over 10 years of using airbnb, that says a lot. Lawrence and his wife are simply the kindest most welcoming host my partner and I ever met. We truly felt like we were coming home after a long day of travel. I just have one dream now and it’s to go back and for a longer time. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 if I could!
