Our family had a fantastic stay - the beach was so close, our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the sunrise/playing card games at the different view points. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this Watamu gem exceeded all expectations! Initially nervous traveling with our 4-month-old, we found the house perfectly equipped with everything baby needed. The staff's warmth made us feel instantly at home. Beds were surprisingly comfortable with memory foam pillows ensuring perfect sleep. The chef was exceptional, accommodating requests while suggesting creative dishes that let us truly relax. Host recommendations revealed Watamu's hidden treasures - there's so much to do! While not beachfront, the home's stunning design more than compensates. Every detail reflects thoughtful consideration - stylish, chic, and always immaculately clean. Cynthia, the nanny (details available from hosts), was wonderful - our baby adored her, giving us precious moments to ourselves..This dream home transformed our paternity leave into an unforgettable paradise experience. The location is ideal, the ambiance tranquil, and the memories priceless. We'll definitely return to this perfect hse.

The house is very recently built, well equipped and in beautiful condition. Set in the forest, the property has a great location - close to a number of local beaches and restaurants on foot, but also close to the road into Watamu centre. Patrick and Jacky were very responsive to any requests, and we really appreciate the good communications over the week we spent there. They have put together a really useful list of local suppliers for everything from meals to massages which was hugely helpful too.

My friends and I stayed in azura and it was a relaxing getaway from the city. It had all the amenities listed and more. The house staff were a delight and the service was top notch.

We have fallen in love with Watamu, but most especially Doum Palm. We are truly so grateful to have found this beautiful house. We loved everything about it, our kids felt right at home, the walk to the beach was so easy which was great to go back and forth between the pool and sea everyday. A stunning spot, surrounded by beautiful trees, peaceful and quiet. Innocent, Maggie, Rehema & Dan are an absolute joy and made everything about our stay so easy. Innocents food was delicious, with small children, eating out isn’t always easy but we didn’t feel the need with the food that Innocent produced and always went out his way to find us the best fresh sea food! We would not hesitate to come back to Doum Palm and already planning a trip for next year! we look forward to recommending this quaint and peaceful spot to our friends and family. Thank you to the hosts for all the recommendations on places to go, taxis, Tuk Tuk etc. we made great use of it all. We can’t wait to come back!

Susie was a great host and communication was smooth and easy. Benedict, Rose and Stephen made our stay lovely and comfortable. Benedict is a fantastic chef and manager. House was greatly located with access to a private little beach allowing for swimming and walking along the creek. Highly recommended we will come visit again.

Have you ever struggled to leave an Airbnb because of how comfortable and homely it was? This is the only downside of your stay at Ken's place. The place was exactly as described and shared on photos, maybe even better, and Ken was quite welcoming and friendly. Catching the sun rise over the ocean from the balcony was a definite highlight of my stay here. I'll definitely be back.

The view is amazing from Murage’s place! The sunsets are incredible. And the location is great for walking to and from the old ferry terminal, Naivas etc. lots of space with 3 bedrooms and good aircon in the bedrooms as well.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Fumbeni House et surtout l’équipe présente pour prendre soin de nous : Charo, Bea, Happy, Wilson et le gardien, tout était parfaitement coordonné ! La maison est superbe avec une vue à couper le souffle. Evidemment pour s’y rendre c’est un chemin pittoresque, à faire en tucktuck évidemment !
