This was a lovely stay! Sonia was so welcoming and she made us feel right at home. Breakfast was good but unfortunately we all had altitude sickness but Sonia did whatever she could to make us feel better. She did a lovely demonstration on weaving and yarn making/dying. She has a shop full of lovely items. Would recommend for a small town local feel outside of the bigger cities. Would recommend for the lovely hospitality and home feeling. There were plenty of blankets for warmth. No heat in the spaces but we stayed warm. Sonia helped get a taxi for us to get to our next location. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

¡Increíble y tranquila casa! Truly a marvelous place. I loved the layout of the place, with the living room, kitchen and a full bathroom downstairs - very comfortable couch set up, and everything needed for cooking daily. The upstairs bedrooms were comfortable and good sized, and the full bathroom up there was also useful. The courtyard also amazing, with the detached office which was great for working with solid stable fast wifi, while overlooking the mountains. YES, the mountains the apus - so magical. The air is clean and the Spirit flies high here - it is a place of pure peace. Evelyn was a super help with everything, who lives next door and is there if you need anything. Catty was always responsive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was good. The walk through the farms to get to town is something I enjoyed doing daily (about 20 mins each way), and meeting friendly locals along the way. I love this home, thank you and highly recommend!!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Alain ! Quelle maison et environnement extraordinaires !! Nos filles et nous, nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l’aise dans la maison. Tout respirait la vie. Nous sommes vraiment heureux d’avoir passé ce temps dans ce lieu sublime et reviendrons avec grande joie !!

Traditionele woning met goed internet en zelfs een grote smart tv. Sfeervol en prachtig gelegen. Ook mogelijk om zelf te koken met een goed uitgerust keuken. De waterfilter was erg handig om drinkwater te maken. Comfortabele bedden. Wel gehorig met krakende deuren, blaffende honden en schimmel in de badkamer boven. Maar het geld zeker waard!

La casa en Urubamba es simplemente preciosa, con un encantador estilo colonial que le da un aire muy especial. El departamento es amplio, cómodo y perfecto para descansar. Además, cuenta con muy buena señal de internet, lo que fue ideal para poder combinar trabajo y relajo sin problemas. Está a pasos de todo en el Valle Sagrado, lo que lo convierte en una excelente base para explorar la zona. ¡Muy recomendable!

Johuel is a wonderful host. He was very responsive with everything we needed. He even changed our towels and sheets during our one-week stay, which I found very thoughtful and impressively clean. He also let us store our bags for an afternoon after we checked out. One important thing to know is that the apartment is not soundproof; it’s in a complex where you can consistently hear other residents in their living spaces and showers. It was not a huge problem for us, but it was unexpected. Generally, the apartment was perfect, and I was very impressed by how clean and well-prepared it was. The shower was very hot and all cooking necessities were provided. Right behind the apartment is a beautiful trail through farmland up to the mountains. We suggest this home for people coming to explore the Sacred Valley. It is VERY easy to get to and from Urubamba and every town in the Sacred Valley. We would definitely stay here again! I had an amazing stay! The place was spotlessly clean, exactly as described in the listing, and exceeded my expectations. El anfitrion Aaron fue súper atento y siempre disponible, el mini departamento estuvo tal cual la descripción, acogedor y muy cómodo, la zona es excelente no solo para los que vamos por trabajo si no también para los que van por turismo ya que es accesible a cualquier medio de transporte. Recomendado totalmente!!

Fue muy amable, super hospitalaria desde que nos dio la bienvenida hasta que nos despidió. Siempre respondió a nuestras inquietudes y solicitudes con rapidez. El lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo. Camas cómodas y con bastantes frazadas para el frío. El lugar estaba frente a una pequeña plaza, linda vista. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme ahí. Gracias Cintya, muchos éxitos.

I don’t think you will find a nicer place in Urubamba. The decor was beautiful, it had hot water and everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was helpful and left a manual with local suggestions. You are right in the middle of everything- stores, markets and restaurants. I highly recommend. One caution though - I am a 5’10, plus size woman (size 16) and i just fit in the bathroom. The opening for the shower is about 12 inches. if you are a bigger person, be warned. Otherwise, this is 100% the place for you.

Wow!!! I booked this airbnb knowing nothing about Cusco! I am so happy that i stayed here in the sacred valley! If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, come here! Walkable to all the markets, bus station (take the colectivo everywhere! it’s cheap!) restaurants, the center of Urubamba where a lot is always happening. If you’re a hiking person, urubamba is the perfect location. if you’re looking to come here and heal, come to urubamba! The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. The host is so awesome and responsive and has a book of local recommendations made with the history of the incas . Overall perfect stay! Don’t go to Cuzco, come here!! Urubamba 💛
