Vernon Nazarene University, and Apple Valley Golf Course. Good place for family and friends to kayak and fish. There is a Splash Pad in town for children. In Mount Vernon, 15minutes away there is Hiawatha Waterpark. There is a fee. Family Reunions are Welcome. Great place to get away, read a book, sit by a fire and relax.

There is plenty available to do! Enjoy Pleasant Hill lake, hiking, kayaking, skiing or an evening with indoor games, outdoor fire pit at The Round House.
