Gayan’s property was amazingly serene and peaceful. Host was very responsive and prompt in her actions. Morning breakfast offered by Gayan was the best meal I had during my visit to Srilanka. This place is highly recommended if you want to have some ‘Me’ time away from hustle bustle of crowded hotel and properties.

Het was een hele fijne en rustige plek. Iets verder van het centrum, maar goed te doen met een Tuktuk. Vooral hele gastvrije mensen en een lekker ontbijt.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich was besonderes und der Service von Anu und seiner Familie war grandios! Immer wieder gern! Wir sind mit dem Tuktuk direkt in Sigirya angekommen und wussten nicht genau wohin. Nach einer kurzen Nachricht hat uns Anu‘s Vater sofort mit dem Tuktuk abgeholt. Jeden Morgen gab es ein wahnsinnig leckeres Frühstück von Anu‘s Mutter, wodurch wir sehr gut in den Tag starten konnten. Und da wir unbewusst am Feiertag Neujahr da waren, hatten wir das Problem, dass kaum Busse gefahren sind. Anu hat uns sofort angeboten, uns zu unserem nächsten Ziel zu fahren. Das hat uns wirklich gerettet. Man fühlt sich sofort Willkommen und als Teil einer sehr herzlichen Familie. Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt.

What an amazing hidden gem. Our hosts could not do enough for us and we stayed an extra day. They organised a tuk tuk tour that included Sigiriya and Dambulla and other local beauty spots and also a safari to nearby Hurulu Eco Park where we saw lots of elephant. The house location is perfect overlooking the lake. We stopped at a restaurant that provided Take Away for our dinner and breakfast was provided. Would love to return but hope others have as much enjoyment as we did and 100% recommend.

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in der Owl's Lodge. Die Lage ist absolut fantastisch mit Blick auf Reisfelder und die heiligen Stätten. Sehr ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen im Pool nach einer spannenden Safari im Wilpattu oder dem Erkunden der Stadt. Prasanna, Lucky und der House Keeper haben uns wie zuhause fühlen lassen, bei jeder Frage geholfen und waren immer sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Thank you for the great stay. We had a wonderful time at Chathurika. The accommodation has a fantastic location by the lake. We were able to observe a lot of birds and animals. The room was super clean & beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable throughout the house and were able to relax very well. There are many attractions to explore nearby. The food was delicious & we had the best tuna on our trip. Big recommendation. The entire team was super friendly & helpful. We would love to come back again :-)

Очень милый и гостеприимный хозяин, место с чудесным видом на скалу Сигирия, единение с природой, в стороне от шума и толп людей.

The room I stayed in is brand new and was exceptionally clean. Breakfast is served on a small porch im front of the room. The home stay is only a short bicycle ride away from Pidurangala rock and located in the middle of the jungle. It’s private and quiet. Thilina is friendly, helpful and always up for a chat. If I come back one day to explore the East coast, I’ll definitely stop by here again!
