Heather’s place was perfect for our trip to Keeneland and the bourbon trail. She communicated very well and the check in and out processes were super easy. The place was described accurately and it met all of our needs!

We booked very last minute as our previous Airbnb had a water issue. Everything was clean, as pictured. Close to Keenland, some great hikes. The home provided lots of entertainment for the 6 kids and plenty of space with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Lots of thought went into providing everything one would need like easy device charging, spices in the kitchen and a coffee station.

We recently rented this charming house for a two-night getaway, and it was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in a remote and beautiful location, the setting was absolutely stunning—ideal for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing us with all the amenities we needed. We loved the various activities available on-site, which kept us entertained during our stay. Whether it was playing games, enjoying some downtime, or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings, there was never a dull moment. One minor downside was the weather; we wished it would have cooperated a bit more so we could fully enjoy walking the grounds and taking in the breathtaking views. However, we made the most of our time indoors and had a fantastic time catching up and relaxing. We had an interesting time at Double Shot on Main. Weather wasn't what we expected, but we made the most of it! Jeanine was quick to communicate where the basement access was and the flashlights. We enjoyed the games, but still managed to see a few distilleries and the horseraces. It was a great central location for everything we wanted to do. Everything was well stocked, comfortable beds, and easy to access when we got there. Jeanine gave us lots of ideas of things to do. Would stay here again!

The home appearers to be recently remodeled. It’s spotless and I have significant appliance envy. The deck is large and so comfortable. We had dinner on the deck and told stories around the fire pit. The perfect hub for the bourbon trail. Great trip!

Everything was as pictured. This is a great place for 3 couples or a big family. With 3 baths and 3 bedrooms, there is space for all. Extra blankets and lots of pillows make it even more homey. The outdoor table sat us all comfortably as well as the porch furniture. The kitchen island only seats 4 though. Kitchen is well appointed and we found just about everything we needed to cook meals. The extra bag of ice and the bonus extra large ice cubes really made our beverages extra special. The decor is spot on! Great local bourbon touches really make the place feel cozy. Bonus is the laundry - we were able to have a bonfire and then wash all of our clothes right away so we wouldn't carry that smoky odor in our luggage.

This is our second visit to Jon's listing. We enjoy the location and easy access to the Kentucky Horse Park. The apartment is lovely and very spacious and was accommodating for 5 people. I highly recommend this property.

Peaceful and quiet! Had everything I needed and was well stocked w towels and soap/detergent etc. Could use more cookware but I had my own. It is an old house and has old house quirks. Shanda was super responsive and helpful with any issues or questions. I really liked the location - nice spot between Frankfort and Lexington. Super close to distilleries and plenty to explore.

Our stay at Nora’s abode was easy and so comfortable! The home was very clean, Nora was responsive with our questions, and we loved being able to walk to cute coffee shops and around the beautiful neighborhood. 10/10 recommend.

My stay here was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and so peaceful and serene. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bed was so comfy. Kathy was wonderful to speak to and I felt right at home. I would absolutely stay here again if I am ever back this way.

We were right by Buffalo Trace, which is why we were there. The place was great, great communication, and lots of information about the area given. A great place to stay!

Everything was excellent for the night we stayed. My Mom wanted to "steal" the pillow she used as she thought is was the "best pillow ever". Everything was clean, there was plenty of stocked items like towels, bottled water, small snacks...it was also a short jaunt to the best restaurants in Versailles and only 10 minutes from Keeneland. My only complaint was the stairs, although people with decent knees that didn't walk all day taking photos will have no issue. I found them to be steep, but my 69yo Mom had no issue navigating them! Parking out back is fine and felt quite safe.

The place was a nice retreat from city life. The location was in a nice quiet area with barely any noise. When we arrived it was super clean and ready to be stayed in. Had everything we needed to stay for about a month. If you needed food or anything, Kroger is literally a minute drive from the location. Also want to give a shout out to our host, Katie. She is a amazing host, any questions or concerns I had were immediately answered. She is very kind and welcoming! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Shelbyville. Wonderful place!

We stayed in the Four Roses Suit and it was wonderful. This was during the snow and it felt really cozy and was had a great HVAC system heated up fast and stayed warm all night easily. Walking distance to Vallozzi’s which is excellent, and the coffee shop on the corner is really great too. Host were responsive and good to deal with. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our brief time in this beautifully restored apartment and would gladly stay again. The owners have done a fantastic job maintaining the historic feel of the building while also ensuring all modern conveniences. The location in the middle of the beautiful Kentucky horse country is also terrific. Thank you for a very nice stay.

We stayed during the Great Flood of the Kentucky River in April, 2025 and were evacuated due to flooding. Jon was extremely communicative and helpful and so friendly. Great host!
