Burn Brae Sunset Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is the converted pickers quarters when the property was a stone fruit orchard in the past. Have recently planted feijoa orchard. A small and cozy space with spacious verandahs to the north and west. Situated on a quiet and private 100 acres. Abundant bird and wildlife. The cabin is self-catering. Breakfast is not provided altho’ tea and coffee making facilities and basic condiments are provided. The cabin is not suitable for children.

Our house is situated in a great position just a few minutes walk to town, cafes, parklands, Quartpot creek, The big thermometer and tourist info centre. Can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 b/rooms.This can be 2x queen b/rooms and a double b/room or a room with 2x single beds.The house has air conditioning and a fireplace so you won’t be cold. Some firewood is supplied. We have a lovely terrace with views of Mt Marlay and the town. plenty of off street parking. Dog friendly. Up to 2 dogs.

The Cottage is fully self contained with a queen bed, kitchen and bathroom, lounge room with comfy sofa lounge, TV and a reverse cycle air conditioner. Outside there is a sitting area with BBQ and stunning views of the stables and surrounding picturesque property areas.

We do have eco friendly solar power and rain water harvesting.Puretec filtered cold water in the kitchen. We were blessed with some rainy years lately but please always be aware of water usage when using the spa . Complimentary two baskets of firewood from 1-5 till 1-9.$30 for extra loads.

Our Romancealot log cabin has an amazingly comfortable queen sized bed which you can curl up in and watch the stars in the night sky through the skylight above. A full sized BBQ kitchen, dining area and daybed for relaxing & unwinding with a book and a glass of your favorite wine. Relax in the western red cedar hot tub while soaking up the warmth of the water and the sounds of nature and feel your troubles drift away.

We are central to the Granite Belt wineries, easy access to Girraween National Park and the historical town of Tenterfield. The cottage is situated on a 42 acre farm, close enough to town that you can pop in easily to enjoy cafes, festivals and a bit of shopping - but far enough away that you will feel you really have escaped to the country.
