Warm, charming, and well appointed. Perfect base for a few days in town if you have a car (which we did). Recommended!

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin has everything you could need. There are measuring cups, muffin tins, potato peelers and any baking or cooking dish you could ever need. Full size oven, fridge, microwave, etc. Lots of games, books, movies, etc. I could have stayed for weeks just to read the books. The cabin is spacious (high ceilings), an open living/dining/kitchen room with a wood stove. Paul came by twice a day to keep it going. Our chats with Paul were one of the highlights of our stay- an interesting and engaging host! The place is absolutely spotless. Even the decorations on the high shelves look squeaky clean. Cute & thoughtful touches everywhere. Super comfortable beds & tons of pillows. One room overlooks the creek; you can listen to the sound of the water at night and search for the Northern lights. Close to skiing, hiking, & good food. A great home base in summer or winter. You will NOT be disappointed by your stay here.

Travis was a helpful and friendly host. Our room was comfortable and super clean, and downtown Talkeetna is just a short walk away. We really appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Didn’t hear a thing at night, so sleep was good. This place was just what we needed for a weekend at the Trio fat-bike race. Would definitely stay with Travis again.

Spent my Birthday weekend at this lovely cabin away from city living…. A great way to reset and relax… definitely 💯 recommend and we will return to this place in the future

Super clean, quiet, and updated little cabin. It was better than the pictures and we enjoyed our time here. Very close to the Denali Brewing Tasting room which was super convenient as well. Will stay here again!

Little touches and big wins at the Talkeetna Lake Retreat! Jessica was very communicative as we neared our arrival time, making sure we found the cabin smoothly. The cabin itself was cozy and filled with so many little touches it felt like home for our 5-day stay. The kitchen was fully prepared for in-house meals. The hot tub was amazing, offering beautiful views of the lake as you soaked. Nearby there are skiing trails accessible from the property and there were snowshoes she left just for us to use. An amazing g stay at an amazing cabin in an amazing location! Stay if you can—you will leave refreshed and relaxed.

We had a great weekend in at the Cedar Cabin in the Woods.

Came down for the Oosik (iykyk!) and Larry's place was the perfect place to stay. Just outside of town in a very peaceful, private, and relaxing setting. Larry and Danielle were great hosts ready to lend a hand and share tips and recommendations as needed. The space of course was amazing and the the house perfectly matched the description with a great kitchen and wonderful wood stove. If you're a local or a tourist you will find Larry's place to suit all of your needs in talkeetna. I would (and hopefully will) stay here again!
