We really loved to stay here! Very nice people and the host can arrange everything you need. Delicious food and if you want to go on excursion I recommend you book it via the hideout. The tuk tuk driver and the jeep Safari driver they arranged for us were very friendly, helpful and had good knowledge.

My family and I had an amazing experience in Kurunegala! The coconut plantation was a paradise for relaxation, and the host was outstanding. He provided us with excellent recommendations and was quick to respond to any questions I had during my family's stay. If you're looking for a tranquil forest experience surrounded by lush greenery, then this is the spot for you. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Excited to return for my next trip to Sri Lanka, and will definitely come back for round 2 in Kurunegala.

We stayed for one night at Lucky‘s new „Farm-stay“ house. The listing is not updated yet, but still it was a very pleasant surprise for us. The house ist built on an untouched property/garden and is surrounded by nature. Yes, you should be aware that this is a more nature-near option. In our book a big plus on the total experience. He is finishing the Farm-stay at the moment and is adding sweet details like an outdoor shower. If you like to stay close to nature and don’t mind some insects and frogs then this is the place to stay at. Lucky was really nice and communicated very transparently. He also arranged a flexible pick-up (our train was quite delayed) and drop off in the morning. His wife did cook amazing dinner for a reasonable price even after we asked for it like one hour before. The included breakfast she made was also delicious. Overall they are great hosts and really do their best to make your stay the greatest!

The place was great, quiet and peaceful. The staff was helpful with everything. They will cook for you and help you with BBQ if you want. The host was friendly and responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

This property is absolutely stunning, the photos don't do it justice. Shenal was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for getting there and checking in. Would recommend staying at least a couple nights to fully enjoy this place

It's difficult to find words to explain how amazing our experience in Chamila's place was. We haven't been received as guests, we felt more like a part of the family. Chamila is very hospitable, polite and humble and she, together with the whole family, including Snowy and Scooby, made us feel welcomed, we learned a lot about Sri Lanka, we ate amazing food (!) prepared by her mother and Elena even had a chance to try on one of Chamila's beautiful saris. Not to mention that she helped us to arrange all the trips in the area (and there's much to see - Dambulla is exactly in the middle of the "cultural triangle") and that we received parting gifts which will make us remember the visit when we're back home (we would anyway!). I've been staying in hundreds of places over the years and this is definitely on my personal top three list. If you're reading this, stop looking for different accommodation. You've just found what you wanted and you will never forget this place afterwards.

As we had booked all four chalets, the host Dilum kindly provided the use of the villa at the end of drive. This was a significant and wonderful surprise. The villa was very spacious and was over and above our expectations. We enjoyed this space greatly and we were looked after brilliantly by Morgan. The breakfasts were tasty and always on time and more than we could eat everyday. Morgan also joined in with our impromptu cricket matches 🤩🫶 The space was private and luxurious and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking something similar while exploring Dambulla and the surrounding tourist sites. We would definitely go there again 🙌🥰
