Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.

For those wanting a true “early settlers” experience (with a blend of modern-day amenities), take it easy at this unique and tranquil, off-the-grid, getaway. Crab Creek Cabin is a 16’ x 16’, two storied hand-hewn beam cabin! A narrow ladder will lead you upstairs to a comfortable, King mattress. (Ability to climb a ladder and not be afraid of heights is a must)! Outside offers a covered porch, dining area, kitchen (propane), vintage outhouse (flush toilet), and an outdoor shower.

We are located just a few miles north of Stone Mountain State Park, and about four miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our cabin sits on the High Meadows golf course and has a peekaboo view of the valley below. The quiet setting allows for wildlife viewing and is within 30 minutes of 19 different vineyards. Please note that we do not host events or parties.

Blue Ridge Parkway home is situated in the mountains of North Carolina, less than a .3 mile hidden driveway ON the Blue Ridge Parkway. The sunsets are amazing. Just take a scenic drive along the Parkway and enjoy many of the overlooks and views from all around! The home is a perfect place to recharge.
