My husband and I came for our honeymoon and had the best vacation we have ever had. The island was beautiful and staying in the bungalow was an awesome experience. The staff at the resort were world class and we felt like royalty staying there. The buffet had a wide range of food too and changed everyday which was great. We did a lot of activities too ranging from relaxing (yoga, massage) to more adventurous (boat cruises, snorkeling and kayaking) - and it was all amazing. The bars and pools are stunning and the one near the bungalows had the bluest water we have ever seen. Cannot recommend this place enough, we didn’t want to leave!

Well, for me and my wife, the trip was memorable right till the end. Though Hassan had some confusions in the beginning that I had booked for Maafushi Island and he quoted me excursion and transfer prices per that Island; however, post realizing, he was considerate enough to offer excursion prices in Dhangethi Island at the rate . What I loved about Mala Boutique: Hosts: The communication was effortless and well managed, Ali was there to pick us up at the Airport, helped us with local SIM and showed us around Male as he was a local guide. He even spotted few Mantas for us near the vegetable market and got us to board the speed boat. At the listing the roles were quite neatly cut out: Shon: He was the care taker and made sure that all the necessary amenities were available for us. We were carrying heavy luggage, he got it transported to our listing Ali: The cook made some lip smacking delicacies and was always asking for feedback to make his preparations better. Breakfast used to be the same for all the days; however, lunch and dinner were mostly continental or Maldivian cuisines/ curries Saalley: This guy was a revelation. He was the instructor appointed for us for all the excursions be it Manta, Turtle or Sandbank Snorkeling, Dolphin/ Tuna Spotting or Island hopping. He was patient to the core, knew what he was doing, took some breathtaking pictures (even of a Shark up close) - He kinda made all our days memorable. The room at the listing was comfortable with powerful AC's. The cleaning crew were considerate enough to leave the AC's on post cleaning so that we came back to a comfortable and cool room after spending time getting tanned at the bikini beach. About Dangethi Island: Firstly, please don't consider it as a luxurious Resort island as you are not paying for that but the excursions and the hosting/ human connect that Mala boutique offers is at par with them. The Island was around 100 kms away from Male and life is quite lazy here. You get a lot of privacy. Locals will always smile at you and will not ever enforce or solicit anything. There are some souvenir shops on the island which can be explored. You can explore the whole island on foot in an hour - also try it without foot-wears - you'll find white sand not only in the beach but on the streets as well Also locals don't come to bikini beach, you are entitled to complete privacy there. Things to cross-check before arriving & the opportunities: - Always keep a mosquito repellent - Its a tropical island, you'll find them everywhere and they are quite adamant on sucking your blood and you can easily kill them in the act as they prefer foreign blood over dying - Goes without saying, keep a good Sunscreen (SPF 50 on you) a Sun hat or if possible a wet suite. - Respect the local laws and culture as women are supposed to wear clothes that covers their Shoulder and knees - Though, in our short stay, we never saw this rule getting imposed on anyone but we still followed it out of respect to local customs. - Variety can be brought in the breakfast I can't think of any other opportunities as I was busy collecting memories and I took truck loads of them back home - Thanks to you guys.

ESPERIENZA INCANTEVOLE Mahibadoo è la capitale del sud Ari Atoll (il migliore per la vita marina), perfetta per chi cerca un'esperienza autentica: isola di pescatori con tutti i servizi: ospedale, banca, ristoranti, negozi e ferryboat locale per spostarsi sulle isole vicine al costo di 2 dollari facendo magnifiche gite in giornata. La guest house di Mehel è perfetta per posizione, servizi, ordine e soprattutto per l'accoglienza e il supporto dei ragazzi che ci lavorano. In particolare, Aflaah un ragazzo super gentile che ci ha aiutato in tutto e sua mamma che ci ha preparato la colazione ogni giorno con affetto. Insieme ad Aflaah abbiamo conosciuto Niyaz, letteralmente il miglior pescatore dell'isola, che ci ha accompagnato in tutte le nostre escursioni, sperimentando la vera vita dei pescatori, condividendo emozioni uniche pescando pesci vela giganti e nuotando insieme a mante, razze, tartarughe e squali balena. Ahmed helped us with everything. It is already a local and small island but he was always there to make us happy. He made recommendations for various activities. You can reach everywhere very quickly and easily. The small area in front of the hotel is very nice and has a wonderful view. Everywhere on the island is already peaceful. It is very close to bikini beach, but the islanders need to keep the island cleaner and increase the opportunities for bikini beach, but it is still very clean on the white sand. it is paradise...:)I will definitely stay here when I come again.thanks for everything🙏

Wir waren eine Woche im Daisy Cottage. Shaameen beantwortete alle unsere Fragen im Vorfeld der Reise und buchte auch für uns die Speedbootfähre. Wir wurden vom Hafen abgeholt und Atik brachte unser Gepäck zur Unterkunft. Mit Shaameen unternahmen wir 2 Ausflüge. Leider sahen wir keine Walhaie, dafür aber eine große Delfinschule mit ca. 40-50 Tieren. Auch konnten wir danach mehrmals schnorcheln. Der zweite Ausflugl war ebenso empfehlenswert, wir fuhren zu einer verlassenen Insel gleich in der Nähe. Auch hier gab es ein schönes Riff. Der nahe Bikinistrand lud auch zum Baden und schnorcheln ein. Absolut empfehlenswert ist das Frühstück und besonders das Abendessen, welches der Koch aus Bangladesh zubereitet. Auch unsere Weiterreise zur nächsten Insel hat trotz Sturm und ausgefallener Fähre gut geklappt. Grundsätzlich ist aber klar, wer 5 Sterne Luxus erwartet muss auf eine Resortinsel gehen.

Wow is the best way to describe this place. We were a bit skeptical booking through Airbnb at first but it was the best decision. Sajjad was extremely responsive and accommodating. He presented us with different packages and we chose the best one for our needs. This resort is absolutely breathtaking and a complete 5 star experience!! From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are treated the best. The customer service and staff friendliness is unlike anything we have experienced before. Anything you need they help with. The water, nature, set up of the island and villas are picture perfect. Everything is so clean. So many fun activities to do (at a cost). The food is AMAZING, we were blown away- everyday the lunch and dinner buffet has new options. We spent a few nights in this villa and a few in the beach villa but this one was our favourite. We are hoping to come back next year. If you are considering booking do not hesitate!!
