The property is beautiful, the space was perfect for 2 people. The unit has everything you would need for your stay and was clean upon arrival. The walls are a bit thin but not much to worry about as everyone respects the quiet hours. Front desk staff were helpful and very pleasant to speak with. The on-site food truck was closed for the season but looks like a great place to grab something quick. Thank you Tally Ho Inn !

Love staying at Ro’s place! Great for female solo travellers and those that want accommodations to meet great people from all over the place!

Loved our stay and their amazing hospitality. They gave us a very warm welcome, gave us suggestions of nice restaurants around the neighborhood. Breakfast the morning after was amazing. They even gave us pie for the trip back home. Best experience to date!

Beautiful surroundings

Beate and Lothar were excellent hosts at the bed and breakfast. We felt right at home in their home and were very generous with their time and accommodating us. The house was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. Beate was on the ball with breakfast and was a delight to talk to. We will defiantly consider visiting again!

Harry & Carol's house is just across the Georgia bay overlooking it. it is very neat & clean place. The breakfast was delicious, Carol we need the recepies please. The places recommended by them are worth the visit same as the restaurants. This couple is so humble, approachable and down to earth. we never felt away from home. We are coming again for sure during summer days.

Footprints is a hidden gem in the Kawarthas, a little paradise! lots of things to do in the resort, lots of space and seating areas. Swimming in the beautiful lake was perfect! We were very fortunate to have the entire place for ourselves for almost two days, when guests arrived for the weekend we found that everyone knows how to be respectful of your space. It was nice to share stories by the fire or by the hot tub with friendly people. We would love to go back!

Jim is a fantastic operator and extremely polite and kind. I would say his number one focus and obsession is customer service. Thanks Jim, I’m looking forward to my next stay. Paul

Excellent stay. The host had great communication, the place was very clean and even nicer then the photos. Friday harbour was so lovely we would definitely return.

Was a great place to stay! Walking distance to mini putt and the beach! While we waited to check in we played ping pong and sat in the shaded fire area!

This place is amazing! If you like relax and be away from the city this place is for you. If you like arts You be amaizt here and next door is gallery of the lake. Thanks for Havig us in your place.

The location is great, private, quiet and pleasant to stay. As a couple, we got to spend a lot of time together either relaxing or enjoying various activities. There are lot of equipments available for use anytime. The room is cozy and provides rustic look which is different but definately refreshing with Lakeview. The staff is welcoming and very nice. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay very much. Lots of indoor activities at the rec room. We made the most of the hot tub & sauna. Cozy room with a great view of the frozen sparrow lake was so serene and peaceful. Will definitely be returning back in the summer. Dory & Ran were very helpful with any questions.

Carole was very accommodating allowing us to check in early, place looked as it did in pictures. Would recommend to friends and would gladly stay again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay with Inga. There are so many things to do at this resort and I can’t say we had enough time to do them all in our one night stay. Definitely aim for a few nights! Inga and her staff went above and beyond, even having to deal with a serious medical emergency while we were there. It is great to stay with someone who cares so much for their guests. A hidden gem!

Wir haben im Cedarhaus unsere letzten zwei Urlaubstage verbracht, da es von dort nicht mehr so weit zum Flughafen ist. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht, die Gastgeber:innen sind überaus freundlich, es war total ruhig und das Haus ist wirklich besonders schön eingerichtet! Das Zimmer wirkte sogar etwas größer als auf den Fotos und man hat durch geschickte Regale viel Stauraum und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der See ist zwar klein, dadurch aber so wunderbar ruhig und man kann traumhaft entspannt paddeln. In der letzten Nacht gingen wir zum See und sahen Polarlichter! Dann gingen wir im Morgennebel nochmal paddeln, das war der schönste Abschied von Kanada den wir uns vorstellen konnten :)

Great & Cozy place!

Stayed for two nights to snowmobile in the area. The room was cozy, clean and a very good value. We will be back.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this beautiful b'n'b! From booking to the last day, Stu and his partner were so lovely, quick to respond, provided tons of local recommendations and hospitality was amazing! Everything is true to the pictures and the place is STUNNING. The room was great with AC unit & ceiling fan, lovely common areas, & a beautiful deck & garden with views out over the lake. We used the kayaks, peddle boat and paddleboard, we didnt need the bikes. Lounged dock-side & basically chilled the entire weekend which coming from DT Toronto was what the soul needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - eggs, peameal bacon, croissants, fruit & yoghurt, juices and Tea, Starbucks coffee pods. We used the food delivery service Stu told us about, and Uber is subsidized by the city. Super easy & cheap to get to without a car & we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood/beaches. Bring some wine, watch the sunset and sunrise, and play on the lake. Honestly, we will 100% be back!
