My husband and I stayed for about 10 days. Quiet neighborhood. Rick's place was clean and cozy. When I needed to contact Rick, he was available to answer my questions right away. He was responsive and pleasant. Accessing directly from the parking lot (covered, assined space) to the apartment was very easy and quick. I would stay here again.

Foremost is what an outstanding host Brian is. He was consistently responsive and helpful, and always good-natured. Whenever we needed anything, Brian was very quick to provide it. The apartment was more than adequate for our needs--I especially liked the walk-in closet and the view of the plants on the back deck. The office space was good for getting work done, and the futon couch there could have served as another bed, though the space is open. There is a step up to the bathroom, which has a nice roomy shower, and everything very clean. Also a step up to the kitchen, which can handle one person at a time. Fridge, range, microwave--all clean and of recent vintage. The neighborhood was quiet, even with a handy laundromat and coffee shop just around the corner. We also liked how close we were to Lake Merritt--good walks. We would definitely stay here again, and hope that we'll have the opportunity.

Amazing host great area beautiful scenery peaceful

The rental worked well for our visit to Oakland. We liked the large bedroom (lots of space for suitcases, big closet, etc) that afforded privacy from the kitchen/living area. The kitchen was sufficiently supplied for cooking though we only used it for breakfast & takeout. It was also nice to have easy access to the Lake for walks. Marie responded quickly to inquiries & overall a great visit to Oakland.

This was our third stay at this location, which says a lot about how much we have enjoyed our stays at Corria's property. She is very easy to communicate with and makes sure our stay is comfortable. Alameda is such a lovely city with great dining options within walking distance and the outdoor space on the water is really spectacular. We are tremendous "birders" and often spend the mornings spotting ducks and shore birds from the private waterfront and enjoying the hummingbirds buzzing over our heads! We are always very relaxed staying here and enjoy the easy access we have to family living in the area. We look forward to our next stay.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Amy's home in Discovery Bay! The house is fully equipped with everything you might need, from kitchenware to all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The entire place was spotlessly clean and very cozy. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with stunning waterfront views that bring a sense of peace and relaxation. The highlight for us was the private dock, which was perfect for fishing! It was such a fun and memorable experience for our whole family. Amy is a thoughtful and responsive host, making communication and the check-in process smooth and easy. We highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Discovery Bay. You won’t be disappointed!

Our family visits Discovery Bay almost twice a year, and this is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained homes we have stayed in, especially for young kids. Thank you Jessica for providing your house for us to enjoy a very memorable weekend!

My stay was peaceful, comfy, quiet & calming, which is just what I was needing. The lights strung across the wrought iron headboard created a very serene atmosphere for relaxing and reflection. The bed was very comfortable and felt like I was sleeping on clouds as I snuggled in to the coziness of the pillows and bedding. There were plenty of bathroom towels, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, tableware, glasses, etc., and the fridge was clean and empty, providing plenty of space for the groceries I brought for my 2 week stay. And the patio… very relaxing, with a few pieces of the amazing art/craftwork made by the owner. The pictures in the listing are an accurate depiction of the place. Within walking distance - parks, cafe’s, marinas - Mosley’s at the Grand Marina is the best - local market; everything you need for a pleasant, rejuvenating stay. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you need a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Stupendous house. Beautiful, comfortable, kid-friendly. Kitchen fully stocked and every other room was perfectly appointed. When I came upon a room in the basement, it was a gold mine of kids' books and board games. Treehouse is lovely. The primary suite is gorgeous...so much sun and views everywhere. We loved it and I wish I lived there.
