This villa is so nicely tucked away into the forest; you have comfort and amenities at your reach at the same time as being nestled into the beauty of Costa Rican land. The place was clean and comfortable. The bed was nice and the air conditioner worked well. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, it’s spacious and I loved the setting with the beautiful birds of paradise plants. The swing was cute and enjoyed morning coffee while lying in it. Very well thought out. The outdoor shower was a treat; lovely. Andres & Tatiana were very accommodating, super kind & responsive. Outdoor kitchen was cute and enjoyed their sample of coffee. I recommend and would stay here again!

We enjoy a lot to spend holidays in this place, is peaceful, beautiful and confortable, I really recommend Villa Corazon. Looking forward to come back soon.

Thank you, we had a wonderful time and William is a great host, very caring and helpful and the Cafeteria seves an excellent breakfast. The Villa has all you need to stay for a few days, the Wifi is very good, the sunrise over the mountain was a gorgeous view. The location is great if you want to travel to the mountains, but also not far from the airport and a good connection to go to either coast. Our plane came in late but that was not a problem, since William communicated the self-check in advance. Our only regret was that we had planned too many activities and didn't have enough time to relax at the lovely pool.

Beautiful house in a secluded location away from the hustle and bustle, while still being in the middle of everything. Xavier and Lisseth were super responsive, responding to any questions within minutes. Check-in was smooth and we had a wonderful selection of local fruits to welcome us. Checkout instructions were clear too. We also enjoyed the private hot tub and the pretty backyard with hammock. Two little cats visited us often and the kids enjoyed playing with them. We also enjoyed walking around the gated neighborhood which was safe but also accessible, and had beautiful views of the Volcano. Oh there's a secret window by the stairs that also gives you a great volcano view.

Juan & the staff were very responsive to all of our questions and helped us with whatever we needed.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time at Cantamar, especially the pool, backyard and beautiful beach. The house is well laid out and had everything we needed. Bruce was a great host and responsive to all requests. Joel and his wife were also friendly and prompt to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend.

I just want to first start by saying THANK YOU MARVIN! Marvin is the ground keeper that is constantly a major help. He checks in via what’s app if we need anything. He was attentive , welcomed us at the door. He always responded quickly and was very communicative. As a group of ladies he ensured we were home save so he can lock the gate. ERIC the chef was amazing! Very accommodating and helpful! He can get down on the grill and kitchen! ROBERTO (host) is very at communicating and sharing excursion details and ideas to do in the area. The road to the home is very rocky and on a dirt hill but once you pass the rocks and dirt the home is amazing!

Consistent with the caveat that once arrived one may wish to stay indefinitely :))… our time at Colibri could not have been more enchanting. Every aspect of Kathy and Stephen’s place exceeded our expectation—from vista to pool to palapa and tasteful layout & amenities, cicada-filled dawns and dusks and distant surf, the serene neighborhood—all enhancing our visit. Nerys and Liana were delightfully accommodating and prepared a very tasty breakfast for us. It was likewise a pleasure to be in the capable hands of such a responsive and gracious host, thank you Kathy for making us feel immediately at home. We look forward to visiting Villa Colibri and Islita again very soon…!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 nuits à la Villa Fortuna (du 10 au 12 février), en groupe de 12 personnes (3 couples, 4 femmes et 2 hommes). La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée, à l’exception de la petite chambre à l’étage avec un lit superposé, qui est assez exiguë pour deux personnes. L’accueil par Matías a été parfait, avec une grande flexibilité sur l’horaire d’arrivée. La maison était extrêmement propre, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les espaces extérieurs : la piscine, les hamacs et le terrain de volley-ball qui ont ajouté une vraie plus-value à notre séjour. Matías a été très réactif et disponible, nous donnant de nombreuses recommandations sur les activités à faire dans la région. Nous avons tout adoré, et nous recommandons vivement ce logement à ceux qui cherchent un endroit confortable et agréable pour explorer La Fortuna. Merci encore pour tout !

Amazing property and beautiful view. Looks just like the photos. Stayed with our 5 kids - plenty of rooms/beds and bathrooms made it very comfortable. Ronald, the property manager was sooo helpful - booked us a chef, fishing and was always in contact with us. Road into punta islita was a bit rough for the van that we rented - 4x4 would have been better. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very spacious home! A beautiful kitchen and a great patio to have breakfast!! The home was very clean! Large bedrooms! Carolina was excellent ! She was always available and answered all questions! She even got groceries and had it ready before we got there! We had a personal chef ! We will definitely recommend!!! So quiet and great view!! We already miss the place!!

We really enjoyed our three-night stay at Villa Roger Arenal in April 2025. When we arrived, we were greeted by don Rogelio, who gave us the keys and walked us through the house. He provided fresh fruit and cake from a local bakery, all of which was delicious. The property and the views are even more stunning in person than the pictures. We enjoyed lounging in and by the pool with its amazing view of Arenal. The covered patio has plenty of comfortable chairs where you can relax or read in the shade. We really enjoyed watching the birds feed on the fruits left for them. The location was very convenient to downtown La Fortuna and served as a great home base for our adventures (zip lining, rappelling, hot springs, etc.). Lester gave us recommendations for local restaurants for dinner and the meals were excellent. Villa Roger Arenal is one of the nicest AirBNBs we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend it as a home base for the La Fortuna area. It was perfect for our family of 5.

I rented this place for my niece birthday, it was a dream come true. The villa is beautiful, the rooms are well decorated and you have anything you need. Daniela is the best host in the world. Flexible, helpful, quick to respond. She made our trip perfect. I 100% recommend this place and Daniela!

We had an absolutely incredible stay. The place was gorgeous—beautifully designed with such attention to detail. It was spotless, peaceful, and felt like our own little private retreat. There’s something truly magical about it; it’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the photos. We didn’t want to leave. What a beautiful home! This place is equipped, detailed, clean, comfortable and maintained. The views are endless. The nights are gorgeous. We spent the majority of our time on the back patio and in the pool. The outdoor shower was amazing. Francisco, the caretaker, was also just so fabulous. He was so helpful and just precious. It was just myself and my best friend, two females, and we felt very safe. They had very comfortable beds, sheets, pillows, towels, linens in general. My best friend and I felt right at home. Probably one of the most comfortable well equipped homes that I’ve stayed in. Definitely the cleanest. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Looking forward to the air-conditioning in the upper bedrooms!

We were two families with teenage kids and really enjoyed the sleeping arrangements and that each adult couple and sets of kids had their own bungalow. The area was peaceful and just outside of town but quick and easy drive/ride into town (no problem Ubering to town). It’s a very authentic accommodations but still had AC and full kitchen. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

La casa es muy céntrica, espaciosa y muy bonita. Tiene todo lo que se necesita y es ideal para grupos grandes. La comunicación con Rebeca fue muy fluida y atenta. Únicamente hay que considerar que la salida es temprano (10 am) y en nuestro caso, no hubo flexibilidad para hacer 'late checkout'.

Our stay in Naranjo, Costa Rica was amazing! Rodolfo and Eugenia were incredible hosts! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Anytime we had questions or needed recommendations, they answered quickly and helpfully. They even surprised my best friend with a birthday cake! The property was stunning—clean, spacious, and even better than the photos. Perfect for a large group. We loved the big pool, outdoor kitchen, and peaceful greenery. It felt very safe with on-site security. While Ubers worked for some destinations, we recommend having a car or reliable driver. Thankfully, our hosts helped when needed. The location is also super convenient—close to the airport and not far from San José. We 100% recommend this place and can’t wait to return! Thank you Rodolfo & Eugenia!

We had a wonderful visit at Lee’s house. The house and grounds are very unique and we always found something new everyday. The pool is very nice and inviting. Antonio was a great asset to the stay with his gracious smile… thank goodness for interpreter apps on our phones🤣🤣. We would stay there again if we ever visit Costa Rica again.

The Villa was exactly as shown and described and provided a very comfortable stay for our three nights in La Fortuna. The host was proactive with instructions and responsive to messages and also provided recommendations upon request for our time in the area. The location is great in the sense that you are near all of the La Fortuna sights, the only thing to be aware of is that you are next to the main road and traffic can be quite loud - there are noise machines provided in both bedrooms.

Great, now I have to move to Costa Rica! That is exactly what I thought after my stay here. What an amazing experience! I can’t say enough great things. Top notch hosting, excellent communication. The home, the grounds, the pool, the sounds, the view, the location, ALL Five Stars. But what made the trip even better was our now dear friend Adrian. He does an amazing job maintaining this property and made us feel safe & welcome. He was always available for anything we needed while also never invading our privacy. What a blessing he turned out to be! Loved the proximity to the airport but still felt very secluded because of the size of the property & its placement in Atenas. The patio & the view were our favorite & I must note, the house proved to be even larger than the photos make it feel. (P.S. - Book Chef Carlos if he is available. What a treat!) The blooms in the garden were too many to count & this place fed my soul. Highly recommend.

Had a great vacation at this beautiful home, we are a family of 5 with 3 girls (15, 13, and 11). The kids loved having their own room and bathroom. The "kids room" is located in the back corner of the property with the pool in-between the main guest house and the kids room, worked out great for us. We loved the open air outdoor kitchen. House is nicely removed from La Fortuna but the main guest house does back to the road and can hear the traffic, while light, in the evenings and morning while sleeping, not a big issue. We spent our days exploring the area, loved the food at Jalapas, La Fortuna waterfall, rope swing, ATV and Hot Spring combo excursion (La Finca Lodge, check it out! Only 12 people at the hot spring), and Judah set us up on a white water rafting trip that was a blast! Pool was bigger than expected and enjoyed while we were on the property. Used the propane grill and outdoor burners. Beds comfortable. The grounds are very well kept and have a very nice walking path.

This place is even greater in person! The host is extremely helpful and answered all my questions while I was there. The rooms are spacious there’s a nice kitchen with everything you need to cook. I felt safe and at home. I highly recommend !
