Was für ein Wunderschöner Ort, einfach unglaublich, der Strand ein Traum. Ich hatte noch nie so ein sauberes Airbnb. Sie waren sehr Freundlich und zuvorkommend und sehr gut erreichbar, würde jederzeit wieder dort hin gehen, absolut Empfehlenswert.

Das Haus ist sehr weiträumig, jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad und WC. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert zum Glück gut. Das 500m entfernte Soda ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man braucht allerdings ein Fahrzeug, um von oder nach Drake Bay zu gelangen. Einziger Nachteil ist die nahe Straße, die abends zuweilen recht laut ist.

The house is in the jungle, near the beach close to Corcovado in the quite wild southwestern part of Costa Rica. As such, it takes some work getting to the place and a four wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended. It is a lovely house for five people. Hiking trails are close by as are numerous beaches. Monkeys and toucans are in the trees that abut the the house. Tour guides for Corcovado will pick you up at a nearby beach so it is not necessary to walk (or drive) into town. Please remember to bring groceries and beverages for the duration of your stay.

I can’t say enough good things about Karin’s hospitality. The place is secluded and full of wildlife. She has all the things you need to cook meals, keep your drinks cold, and a wonderful outdoor shower. We hung our hammocks to watch a beautiful sunset steps from the front door. Some things to note about this location, it is secluded. One night is not enough. You must plan your meals and bring all your food with you. You must take care of the kitchen and keep food away from wildlife. You are surrounded by gardens and nature and all that comes with it! Karin will help organize your transportation by boat. We parked at Sierpe and took the 2 hour boat to her beachfront. You are then closer to the park tours than Drake Bay but you have no town to walk to for food etc. There are beaches to explore and I recommend bringing water shoes and snorkel gear.

Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

Nous avons passées un super séjour chez Debra ! José nous a très bien accueilli et a toujours été attentif et réactif lorsque nous avions besoin de renseignements ! Il nous a notamment aidé à réservé notre activité snorkeling, l’une des meilleures expériences passées lors de notre séjour au Costa Rica! Un grand merci à lui pour sa disponibilité ! Nous sommes parties de ce charmant logement avec grand regret 🥹. La vue extraordinaire va nous manquer ! À une prochaine fois !

Pros: - Location is the best- very close to main Beach where you take the boats to Corcovado, Diving/snorkeling/ Sierpe - José (local contact) he was very friendly and kind. He genuinely cares that your stay is the best as it can be. You can ask him for advice and he will give it to you with a good mood and friendly attitude. - The mattress is hard. We really liked it. Cons: Bathroom is outside. I still included 5 stars as it was already in the description. The bathroom is very hot.

Hemos pasado unos días increíbles en la vivienda de Flor y Efraín, han sido acogedores y han estado pendientes de nosotros en todo momento para que nos sintiéramos cómodos. Richie was super helpful both before and during our stay / the pool and restaurant areas are gorgeous - with beautiful birds at late afternoon - Richie had an AC unit installed in our bedroom prior to arrival which was greatly appreciated coming from Michigan - would recommend having a car as the area is quite hilly and will want one to get to local areas. We stayed in villa 10 and it had everything we needed and was very private. There is an onsite hiking trail and yoga also available. Nature and bird lovers paradise
