I can't remember how many times I've stayed with John and Caroline. Six? Seven? Eight? Alway wonderful. Hospitality, charm, and beauty. In elegant comfort. But this time even the weather was absolutely perfect. Balmy. Sunny. Late autumn color. But why read this review? Just look at the photos. I rest my case.

Nice stay in a comfortable apartment. Friendly hosts in a quiet neighborhood. Close to town and local attractions.

To say this place is unique would be an understatement. I’ve always been curious about how storefronts could be transformed into livable spaces, and Igor and his team have absolutely nailed it. The space has a cool, bohemian vibe with eclectic touches throughout—it’s full of personality and charm. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, and it’s just as intriguing and creative in person. The bathroom was spotless and thoughtfully organized, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials if you feel like cooking—though you might not need to, with plenty of great and affordable food options just a short walk away. All in all, a truly memorable stay. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

We were there for a basketball tournament at Impact sports complex. Location was great, 8 minute away. Place was perfect for my husband and daughter.

Cindy was very friendly and even had cookies waiting for us! We would definitely book again when in the area!

We've stayed here a few times and it's always been perfect. I love the layout of the place -- living area on one floor, bedrooms upstairs -- it's great for when different people want to do different things. It's got a lovely "tranquil oasis" vibe. The location is central in Merrickville but also very quiet at night. We'll be back!

The Loft was an incredible place to stay for our ski getaway at Bolton Valley. We had everything we needed and more. Paul was super welcoming and responsive. Just a short walk (or ski) to the lift so we could warm up, grab a snack or a quick nap before heading out to the trails again with ease. My family will definitely be going back to the loft!

This place is so well reviewed and deserves all the praise- so much nicer than we imagined! It is a total separate building and so private. The owner has decorated it beautifully and it is so warm and cozy. Yes the kitchen is small but the lovely floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace and garage and outside space and so much more make up for that instantly!

Thanks Brandee and Jon! You were great hosts and we had a fun little trip. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back again!

My mom and I needed a place to stay close to the Skidmore campus for parents weekend. The place was perfect for us. It was close to campus and really easy to get into town to soak in all of Saratoga. The apartment was even more beautiful in person, clean, bright, and with every amenity you could imagine. There were snacks – even Ben & Jerry’s mini sundaes in the freezer! My daughter loved those! Sheri called me the night we checked in and we met her the next day. She was warm and friendly, and had lots of suggestions for us. It was a really comfortable space to rest, hang out, and make meals if we didn’t feel like going out to eat. It was a perfect place to stay, and we will definitely be back!

Gloria is a wonderful host, very responsive, and accommodating. After we arrived we requested if an iron could be provided and Gloria went out, bought and delivered a new one the next day. The location of the property is perfect in having many great restaurants right next door. There is on-site free laundry machines in the basement. There is parking behind the house which is very convenient but it can get a bit crowded when all of the apartments in the house are rented at the same time. Also at one point we heard an animal between the walls scratching and running around. The apartment is very spacious and clean, but could use some minor maintenance (window, sink, etc.) Overall a wonderful place in a great location from a terrific host. Highly recommend!!!

Very cute loft apartment. Clean, comfy and warm. Only 10 minutes from White Face Mountain, and 10-30 minutes to all the high peak hikes. Alex did a great job plowing the driveway to ensure we come and go during a huge snow storm. Pro tip: buy the moon cake cheese (made on the farm) and the local bread from the farm store (literally a few feet from the apartment) for the best post ski grilled cheese in the world

This Airbnb was very nice and wholesome inside. We were four people and we thought the place had a good size. Everything was clean and ready for when we got there and the instructions were very easy to follow. The Airbnb was a little old and squeaky but it didn’t bother us at all. We had a great time.

This is a perfect place for anyone wanting to cruise the miles of NY Bikeway. I had a conference at Union College in Schenectady, and behold, the Bikeway basically runs from Manny's apartment to Union's conference hall! Two (OK, hilly) streets and you're on the path. The Niskayuna section is gorgeous and there's even a tiny forest as you approach Schenectady! As others have said, the space is new and elegant and has everything: gas fireplace, laundry, deluxe bath, etc. and will correct any unpleasant ideas you may have about "basement apartments." It's in a quiet but not very pretty area, so you don't miss having window views of the neighborhood. I am badly allergic to scented laundry products and REALLY hope Manny will stop using them before I come back next year. However, he went above and beyond 'de-toxing' for me: stripped all of the linens and got them out of the house, had the climate system running on filtered fan -- an amazing job!

Quiet, peaceful retreat 10 minutes outside of Middlebury. Warm and bright, the apartment was a great getaway for a couple of nights. It would comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 kids. It was fun watching the chickens wander the property and Ben gave us a dozen eggs, which in these days is worth a lot!
