William's property is so beautiful. The view of the lake is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We enjoyed every meal on the screened in porch surrounded by the beatiful water. The home is so cozy and feels homey yet luxurious. It had eveything we needed. The access to the water from the dock was one of our favorite parts. A lot of wonderful memories were made by the water... swimming, kayaking, watching turtles and fish. It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation spot and we hope to be able to stay again in the future. We also enjoyed the historical aspect of the property and felt a connection when we visited Fort Ticonderoga, which was minutes away. Our family loved this vacation and this lovely and charming home! The location was remote but still easy to find and not far from the main road. Peaceful and private with the best view I have ever had at a rental in Vermont (which is saying a lot given how beautiful the state is) The house was well stocked and clean. Jeannie was very accommodating but not overbearing at all. Would absolutely return.

Wonderful stay at Roberts. Extraordinary sunrises over the lake each morning, and areas throughout the house to enjoy the views while working or relaxing, and cozy spots to read or play games. We immediately felt the warmth and history of the place and had everything we needed for an enjoyable week. Robert was super responsive and friendly.

We've had a wonderful stay at the cottage on the lake. From the moment you arrive, you find the peace and serenity you came for. The stairs to the water are a short walk to views and daily sunsets. The cottage is well stocked and cozy for winter nights. Cell service and wifi keep you connected. Pratt's General Store is well-stocked and a five minute ride, and Middlebury is only 20 minutes away. Would recommend to any looking to re-connect with nature and the beauty that is Vermont.

Lovely barn in picturesque Vermont. More than glamping but not cushy living. Shower gets hot immediately, full kitchen. We were there in October so the barn gets very cold. Bedding was nice and warm, and we slept amazingly well but hanging in the living room was hard given how cold it was. Must layer up! Jeff was lovely and kind. The surrounding towns are nothing short of quaint and charming. Loved our stay!

Convenient to our hunting spot, the accomodations were closer and far more comfortable than where we have stayed in the past. Ardie very accommodating, and helpful during our stay. Two of us will be returning in two weeks and hopefully again next year.

Perfect getaway for our family of 6. It was cold and rainy but plenty to do at the house. Kids loved the game room. We got to take a freezing cold dip in the lake and warm up in the hot tub. Thanks for having us!!!

If you’re thinking about booking to stay here then stop! Stop thinking about it and just book it. You won’t regret it. Such a special place and so magical. We loved it. Wish we lived closer so we could visit again. You’ll also struggle to meet nicer/friendlier hosts. Thank you for sharing your beautiful treehouse with us!!

Honestly can’t speak more highly of our hosts and the place. Hosts were extremely helpful and we had open lines of communication. The place was perfect for our ski trip. No complaints at all.

Lovely home and would 100% visit again. The porch sitting over Lake Champlain is one of a kind - we saw many of the surrounding properties from the water during our time in Essex and I don’t think there’s another porch in town with that type of water view - can’t beat it! We spent 10 days in late August with our 3 yr old daughter and some grandparents in/out over the course of the visit. The home was perfect for our getaway. The hosts, Lisa and John were flexible and welcoming. The space had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen was great and we cooked many meals at home. The open kitchen/dining/living floor plan is perfect for spending time together and so cozy… all alongside an unbeatable view.

We enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s family cabin. Nice layout for a larger group, beautiful views, secluded cabin.

the home is wonderful. the game room is great for all ages. the accomodations are just what you need in a lake spot. the view is beautiful and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it as well as other activities. small level yard is a plus w kiddos. the dock is in decent shape and was great to have so we had quick access to our boat. amenities listed were all there and major plus for the washer and dryer in unit. makes a Vaca so much easier. the place really is great. from the location to the accomodations it's all you can ask for. the host was also responsive and timely and willing to explain anything you asked. she was a pleasure to work with. most importantly I felt I could rely on her. I would recommend this place to anyone. wonderful experience.
