Had a great stay. Fun place right on the lake.

I spent 3 nights on this property , the pricing was fair for the view and the amenities. Absolutely beautiful scenery, I hate that I didn’t get to get in the lake because of the weather , but so happy they had private hot tub on the property. The hot tub itself will leave you feeling stress free lol. The house was spotless and decor was beautiful very homie. I was suppose to have 5 guest but ended up just being 3 and feel like that’s the perfect amount of guest for this house. Love it , and highly recommend if you just wanna get away and enjoy some nature.

If you looking for a great place to stay where you can take in beautiful surroundings, then this place is it. It was very rustic and semi private. We loved this place and all it had to offer. The host were very helpful and very responsive. I would recommend 10/10 for staying here. Thank you guys for sharing your home with my daughter and I. We will be back!

This was easily one of my most favorite vacations of all time. The tranquility and the peace that Nancy is beautiful property provided will be a memory that I will always cherish with my kids. Outside of the property, we were fortunate enough to take a pottery lesson with her and my daughter mentioned several times to me how this was one of her favorites experiences with me. In addition, they were kind enough to share an opportunity to hike down to their private land in the gorge gorge for a peaceful and fun Saturday afternoon. What an adventure it was and well worth it. overall, we will definitely be looking at coming back and absolutely be sharing this magical place with friends and family.

This place was wonderful. The open kitchen and living room concept made cooking social and fun. There was tons of land for my dog to run around. Overall, it was a very wholesome trip. Thank you, Connie for your wonderful home.

The house was beautifully remodeled. All amenities were spot on! Gorgeous kitchen & bathrooms. We loved the gas fireplace insert!

We had the misfortune of being caught in a storm but Mary and family went above and beyond to help our family. We are very thankful for their kindness.

Me, my daughter and her family spent a couple nights at The Stargazer recently. We really enjoyed our time there. The house is charming and the grounds are beautiful. Though we were there in early spring and the temperatures were still mild, there were still great opportunities to get out and enjoy some fishing and disc golf. The hosts provided extra touches, such as a basket of snacks, a s'more kit and a jar of mini candy bars that my granddaughters loved. I was able to bring my dog, and there were bowls provided as well as towels for him if he couldn't resist getting in the beautiful creek. The location is a little remote, but there were plenty of fresh condiments in the fridge and cabinets in case something was left behind. The fact that it was a little remote helps make it tranquil. We hope to visit again when the weather is warmer and will also rent the tiny home there that can accommodate my son and his little family. Great stay!

Beautiful little cottage. Perfect place to stay for hiking, only a short trip to the Greyson Highlands State Park. My kids & pup loved the creek in the back yard as well!

Bakers cottage was so peaceful. It was nice sitting on porch listening g to the birds and the stream of water. We felt right at home. We left our iron and iron board and they made sure one was there. It was very clean. Tonya was so easy to work with. She made our stay enjoyable with a birthday treat. We will be back because it’s one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

I stayed here for three months as I was looking for a place to relocate and I absolutely loved my stay here! It is a beautiful location, where you can see the lake and so much access to many hiking trails. The Airbnb is adorable and both my dog and I felt right at home. David was an incredible host and was super proactive to seeing what I needed or ways to make my stay better. The day I came was a huge snow storm and I mentioned how my car doesn’t drive well in the snow and he came and completely cleared my parking spot. There was an also a time I had car troubles and he was able to give his trusty mechanic’s number. David went above and beyond in my stay there even offered to grab things while they were closer in town. Some things to be mindful of is the location is a on a busy road and cell service is not great in the area so if you are looking to unplug this is perfect! I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to all my family visiting!

Our entire experience was amazing. Darren was extremely helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful with a lot of things for the whole family. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Darren went above and beyond.

We had a fire at our local home, and our family loves to have Christmas in the mountains. So with that we hunted up available for the family to be together for Christmas, and we found Dale's place. We all lived the creek out back we sat on the back pourch and visited.

The Alley House is a charming place to stay. So much so that I spent two weeks there. I am from the area but haven’t lived there for many years. It’s great to have a charming comfortable place to accommodate us while in the area visiting family. This will be my go-to for future visits.

Beautiful, felt at home. There was 9 of us and everyone was comfortable. The only thing that I would have liked was a bathroom upstairs but there is 2 full bathrooms downstairs.

So very happy with Happy Trails Cottage! Very clean, and private. Absolutely loved watching the cows in the back field and hearing the bellows. Yard is well maintained, my boys liked running around on the soft grass. Loved how easy it was to find, and how welcoming it was. So great to have some bottled water when we got in and coffee any time I needed a pick me up. Absolutely loved we were able to do laundry before we left, very convenient! House was very clean and I swear it is bigger on the inside than it looked! Eddie is a great host, very responsive, clear and kind. While Nickelsville itself is a very quiet town, it was relatively central and very easy for us to travel around to all the areas we were interested in seeing as we are looking to move to SW VA. Great stay, would definitely stay again if visiting.

We enjoyed our stay here. Perfect for a family of 4 and 2 grandparents. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. My only complaint was there were 6 of us and only 5 towels. We purchased another towel and all was fine. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again.

Wendy is a gem of a hostess. She went above and beyond in addressing a couple of minor issues we had during our stay. I dare say the kindest host we have ever had during our AIRBNB adventures. Oh yeah, and her baking is phenomenal. Consumption of her baked goods requires a few extra hikes. :) A lovely stay and a great experience.

Laurie was very responsive from the moment we booked till time we left. This cozy cottage is perfect. You will immediately feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. The fresh baked goods and flowers was perfect touch. The home was spotless, everything labeled, house was just as pictured.

My family loved Rose Hill was quiet, peaceful and beautiful.

We have stayed here multiple times, this place is definitely worth it and we enjoy how private it is.

I don’t even know where to start. The location is gorgeous, the cabin had everything you could need, right where you would think it would be. Adam was extremely responsive. The wildlife was active and fascinating. We used the fire pit on the last night there and just seemed magical! The queen bed is comfy, as the couch. If you can manage to come on a full moon, do it. Seeing the moon rising over the mountain across the river was a little bit like watching a miracle happen. A+ across the board. I feel so fortunate to have found this place. Thank you Adam and family. And thank you Pam, the place was spotless. We didn’t want to leave, and will be back as often as we can manage it. I can’t wait to see it through the different seasons. It is truly a special place.
