We rented Lara's beautiful home for my daughter's bridesmaids retreat! It was the perfect setting for her and her friends to worship, pray, cook and prepare for my daughter's wedding day! The home is so well decorated - it feels peaceful just walking in the door. Everything needed is there! Lara responds so quickly to questions and is so proactive in reaching out with directions, information and any other needs you have! This was one of the best AirBNB experiences I have ever had!

This is a lovely home and provided our family an idyllic holiday weekend over Easter. Everything is as pictured. Howard is an extremely gracious host; always quick to respond. We just left this morning and my 12 year old is already asking when we can go bock. :)

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful location that felt very peaceful and our daughter loved all of the amenities. We'll definitely be back.

we enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven immensely. It was in the perfect spot for a relaxing stay for us and our fur baby, with a short sprint to Bristol Motor Speedway for the races. Hope to come back soon!

Good place right on the New River. The valley is very quiet and secluded with only a few single family homes and vacation cabins scattered up and down the side slopes. Very casual and easy check-in. Kitchen and house very well equipped for lots of cooking and activities and entertainment. Hot tub was great. Very easy and ample space to roam for folks with pets. If you have a very low clearance vehicle like a corvette or something, check on bridge first, but 99% of vehicles will be fine even as crazy as it looks especially after Helene(notably, their bridge was one of the only small private bridges left after Helene that we saw). Want to come back in the summer one day for some tubing, perfect spot for it.

We loved staying at Jeremy’s place! It was so quiet and peaceful with lots of fun things to do for our little boy. The house was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was so much fun! Perfect place to get away and rest and enjoy as a family. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It is a beautiful home in a very peaceful and relaxing area. Plenty of space for our family of four (or more). The space was welcoming, clean, comfortable, stylish and we enjoyed every part of it. The host was helpful and responsive - they clearly love the cabin and take very good care of it. Would highly recommend! Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was squeaky clean, charmingly decorated, and comfortable. We had everything we needed, even wood for the fire pit and chairs to put by the fire. Our puppy also had a great time playing in the large meadow by the creek. We hope to come back soon.

Rachel's cabin was definitely one of the top Airbnbs I've stayed in (out of 15+ previous Airbnbs)!! It was extremely clean and well stocked with necessities and kitchen supplies. The bed was comfy, the porch was so nice to relax on and the surroundings are pretty. The cabin is very conveniently located to the Virginia Creeper Trail and Appalachian trail and it is a pretty short drive to Abingdon, which offers some great restaurants and a cute downtown. Also, we very much appreciated being able to bring our 2 pups with us!!!

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the week of New Years. We wanted to get away from everything for the new year and celebrate with just the 2 of us. This property provided exactly what we were looking for. You can still see the effects from the hurricane but you can see how hard they are working to get everything back to normal but nonetheless the property is still beautiful and peaceful. We are already discussing to come back in the spring or summer to experience this beautiful property in the summer. I highly recommend anyone stay here.

Fantastic location! Near the creeper trail with beautiful Mountain Views! Had everything we could need during our visit. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We went for the rustic cabin experience and were pleasantly surprised by a heated toilet seat. With the devastating hurricane prior to our stay, Patricia graciously offered us a no charge cancellation. We appreciated the offer and constant updates and communication.

Very cute cabin with good heat! Excellent porches. It's in a neighborhood of other similar style cabins, that I find very charming. You can see them from the property but it's on a dead-end street & still felt like there's space between neighbors. Really quiet and private in deep winter. Lots of deer wandered around the property. The brook, 10 feet from the covered back porch, was v peaceful to sit and listen to. Note: There is only one hill of any magnitude on the way there, which I was relieved to see, and the little country road to house and the driveway are not steep but flat. That said, when snow froze as temperatures dropped to single digits - teens, my AWD was not able to get up that one hill ! Something to be aware of. Thank goodness it was easy to get back to the cabin and was able to arrange to stay another night. Having brought extra food, it worked out. Carolyn was very helpful and supportive about the situation, and stayed in touch with me as I figured out what to do.

Great stay at dancing bear cabin! Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Glad I found this place. The peaceful water rushing from the stream with small cascades was just awesome from the porch. The hike to the falls was challenging but worth it. The proximity to parks, things to do and places to go, it was within an hour to our top destinations. it was also close to two towns within 25-40 minutes. Will definitely be going back.

The place had everything we needed. The fire pit was nice. Very cozy and comfortable.

Not our first time staying at one of Kim‘s properties, and it will definitely not be our last. The space provides a perfect respite and it is convenient to downtown West Jefferson.

Darren was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in cabin 3, and it was brand new and clean. Family stayed at a home on the lake and we suggested that they stay at Darren’s place next time down. Can’t beat the price or amenities. Definitely suggest! Just make sure you pull up directions in town since there’s little service, but once there, the wifi is great!
