We loved our stay here!! We had a bit of a hiccup and needed somewhere to stay night of and Pat let us check in immediately. They were so understanding and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed! Could not recommend this place more!!!!

We loved our stay at this house. Cecilia was very helpful with super simple instructions for arriving to the house and checking in. The house was exactly like the pictures shown, very clean and nicely decorated. The house was very cozy and perfect for our stay. I highly recommend this home away from home and Cecilia- she was so easy to communicate with!

Lovely house, great amenities. The kids really enjoyed the yard, and we had everything we needed to make family meals. Brett was responsive when I texted about a few minor issues. Something to note for light sleepers—we heard train horns blaring every few hours both nights we stayed. Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again!

Wonderful place, we absolutely loved it. Home was beautiful and unique, everything was taken care of, and everyone was right about those cookies. Oh my goodness. 🤩 We had a 3-year-old with us who is pretty chill, so it was fine for us, but be aware of breakables if you have more rambunctious kids. We millennials absolutely loved being able to watch Disney movies on VHS with her though, and there were books for kids available too. Short drive to Dyess if you’ll be visiting there, location was great for that. Overall, highly recommend, no complaints at all!

Carla is an attentive and kind host who communicates exceptionally well. The place is beautifully curated, well stocked and very clean. Although the hot tub was in fact ready for us, we had something unrelated come up didn’t get to use it. I would not hesitate to stay again and look forward to it very much 🩷

Our stay here was wonderful very clean place had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and a very spacious home for us during our stay! Kauai was a wonderful host quick to respond and very helpful!

Excellent stay while back visiting family in Abilene! The house is spacious and plenty of room to spread out. House is well stocked, everything you need for cooking a meal is there; the bedrooms were nice and comfortable as well as the bathrooms. Back porch overlooking the lake was peaceful and beautiful! Great stay and highly recommended!

The scenery alone was worth the visit. To get to sit in a quiet, serene front porch and enjoy a cup of coffee was the highlight of the trip. The weather was cooler than we expected and that was also awesome. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was a fabulous one night stay for our family. Cozy and relaxing, comfortable beds and plenty of amenities. The host also left a sweet gift for us to enjoy. Zero complaints!

The house looks even better than the pictures! It had everything we needed to celebrate Easter as a family. I was able to bake some traditional recipes because the house was so equipped. Great location, great price, had absolutely everything we needed, super clean, well-decorated, and the hosts made everything so easy for us! And the backyard…amazing! If we’re ever in Abilene again, I will look to book here first!

We had a great stay at Jeremy and Kelsey’s place! The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group. Communication was excellent—Jeremy responded quickly and was always helpful. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

The Aviator's Retreat

Very close to Hendricks South Hospital, we made the trip many times and it was always easy and fast! The house was perfectly laid out, the bed rooms were far enough away that naps were uninterrupted with the TV on in the living room and cooking in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Rodney’s place while visiting our daughter in Abilene. The home was clean, spacious, and felt really welcoming—just what we needed. The location was perfect, and Rodney made everything easy with clear, thoughtful instructions. We will absolutely stay here again!

This place truly was a home away from home. We brought our 3 and 1 year old daughters and I felt so at peace knowing the entire house was safe and child proof. They had everything we needed for the girls plus so much more. I cant wait to come back and stay again.

The house is everything you need for a home base. We didn't cook here at all so I can't say anything about the dish options but everything we needed for bathrooms, beds and even the laundry was available. The kids loved the pool table and other games! Good backyard if you need to bring pets too
