Metro
Metro is convenient, but limited in terms of stops. It takes you all the way to the Railway station, that you can use to travel outside yerevan ( i.e. Gyumri City or to Tbilisi, Georgia)

Train is super convenient to travel to outside Yerevan especially Gyumri city. There is a fast and slow train available. You can purchase tickets online but also at the Railway station
